‘Is this good or bad’, ‘Get in’ – Plenty of Coventry City fans are divided with recent club announcement

Coventry City have recently announced that they have completed a deal to sign goalkeeper Lee Camp on a short-term deal.

Camp had previously been on the books with Birmingham City, but left the club when his contract reached a conclusion at the end of the 2019/20 season.

Coventry City are currently sat 21st in the Championship table, and are three points clear of the relegation zone after their opening 13 matches of this year’s campaign.

Sky Blues boss Mark Robins was clearly keen to add depth to the goalkeeping position heading into the hectic, and potentially season-defining festive period.

Camp has previously been on the books with the likes of Nottingham Forest, Derby County and QPR earlier in his career, and he’ll be eager to make a good impression with his new club.

Plenty of Coventry City supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on Camp’s arrival at the club.
