Fulham suffered a defeat at the hands of struggling Stoke City at the weekend, as Nathan Jones' side ran out 2-0 winners, lifting them off the bottom of the Championship.

The defeat saw Fulham drop to 10th in the table, six points off top spot and handed manager Scott Parker his third defeat of the season, which will be a concern for the new Cottagers boss as he looks to secure promotion this season.

So do you feel pressure is starting to build on Parker at Fulham following their latest defeat?

We discuss.........

Liam Drury

"With it being Scott Parker’s first full season in management, then the pressure is bound to build on the young manager as he looks to improve Fulham’s results following their relegation from the Premier League last season.

"Parker’s Fulham side have become slightly predictable however, having used the same style of possession-based play across the course of the Championship season so far which has enabled other teams the opportunity to work Parker’s side out and make life difficult for them.

"Despite having played at the top level, the former England midfielder is bound to be feeling the pressure under the collar as results at Craven Cottage begin to turn ever so slightly on the manager.

"Parker has the potential to be a good manager for Fulham however if results don’t start to turn soon, he could find himself out of a job if he doesn’t learn to deal with the pressure cooker that is management."

Ben Lang

"I think Parker will still be given plenty of time to improve Fulham's form, but he cannot afford to have many more afternoons like Saturday.

"The former midfielder is still developing as a manager and Fulham would have known this when they handed him the job. The fact he is still learning was evinced by the fact he set Fulham up with wing-backs, and this clearly did not work.

"Many Fulham fans would have been expecting their side to be firmly within the promotion picture at this stage, and the fact they have underwhelmed on this front will be concerning.

"However, Parker is clearly trying to develop a possession-based style of play at the club and there have been enough good performances this season to warrant the continuation of this project."

Luke Phelps

"As much as I like Scott Parker as a person and ex-pro, I do think that he and Fulham have under-performed this season.

"Although the Stoke defeat is the team's first since august, they’ve won just two in that time and have slipped down to 10th with the loss.

"On several occasions his tactical approach had been called into question - fans couldn’t decipher what the formation was on Saturday, and Stoke thoroughly outclassed them.

"I hope he gets time though because i do believe that he’ll come good at Fulham - it’s easy to forget that it’s his first full-season in management, and he’ll be learning new facets with each passing game."
