Nottingham Forest
“Is that it?”, “Not the cull we were expecting” – Nottingham Forest fans disappointed by club announcement

Nottingham Forest announced their retained list yesterday afternoon with four first-team players set for exits.
Forest officially confirmed the already-known exits of Chris Cohen, David Vaughan and Jack Hobbs and also revealed that Ashkan Dejagah was off.
Young trio Aaron Smith, Elvis Otim and Lewis Walters have also been let go, alongside a handful of under-18 players.
Meanwhile, loan quartet Jack Colback, Lee Tomlin, Costel Pantilimon and Kieran Dowell have all returned to their parent clubs – at least for now.
But the retained list disappointed quite a few fans on Twitter, who were hoping to see more of an exodus.
Of course, Forest will still look to sell a number of these players on their books but they are still under contract for now and will remain at the club if potential suitors are not found.
Here are a selection of the best responses following the club’s official confirmation of their retained list.
Swear there is always one random player in these that I can never remember we actually had. Thanks for the memories Dejagah.

Pity Vaughan was Injured so much. Such a good player when fit, which was hardly ever but we were a better side when he was in it.

Still another 6 or 7 players from that list I'd like to see moved on.
