The summer transfer window is in full swing now, with Leeds United amongst the Sky Bet Championship clubs looking to secure some early deals ahead of next season.  

Reports in the Yorkshire Evening Post earlier in the week confirmed that Leeds were looking to seal a deal for Abel Hernandez, who is out of contract at Hull City this summer and looking set to leave the KCOM Stadium as a free agent in the coming weeks.

The 27-year-old bagged eight goals in 10 appearances during an injury-hit 2017/18 campaign, with Leeds’ supporters encouraged by the club’s ambition to bring the striker to Elland Road.

Leeds and Elland Road are currently preparing for Saturday’s title fight between Josh Warrington and Lee Selby, with the club’s Twitter account (@LUFC) sharing constant updates.
