Paul Clement has endured many issues since joining Reading, but Royals fans will be please to hear that one of those problems are set to be resolved as their key winger returns to the squad.

Modou Barrow and Clement seem to have resolved their differences after the winger was left out of the squad due to disciplinary issues.

It's not the first time Barrow has been frozen out by Clement, as he was faced with a similar situation whilst the pair were at Swansea City.

The Gambian international has only made six starts this season for a Reading side that has struggled in large parts of this years league campaign.

But what do our FLW writers think of the return of Barrow to the Reading squad this weekend?

We discuss...

Sam Rourke:

There is no denying Mo Barrow can be a top performer on his day.

However, he's been inconsistent this season and is struggling to emulate the form he showcased last season.

You get the feeling he doesn't want to be at Reading, and I could honestly see the wideman being offloaded in the January window, if a decent offer is to be presented to Ron Gourlay and co.

Gary Hutchinson:

It's always important to get key players back, so Clement will be delighted with the news.

Is it too little, too late though?

Clement is already on very thin ice, and it may be the return of Barrow comes too late to save him from falling through.

Jay Taylor:

His return is very important.

Without Mo Barrow, Reading have looked void of any creative threat.

It is time Paul Clement ate humble pie and reintroduced the destructive winger into the starting XI.

Louie Chandler:

It is a boost.

But then it feels like it will make very little difference at the same time given the sorry state of things at Reading right now.
