Sheffield United have been in dreamland over recent weeks, having secured their place back in the Sky Bet Championship for the first time since 2011.

After securing automatic promotion in Sky Bet League One, Chris Wilder’s side wasted no time in sealing the title, recording back-to-back 3-0 victories over the Easter period.

Wilder’s side recorded a 3-0 victory over MK Dons on Saturday afternoon and three-points from their final fixture of the season, against Chesterfield, will see the Blades reach 100 points.

United already appear to be planning for the Championship, with controversial striker Ched Evans set to return to Bramall Lane, according to BBC Radio Sheffield Journalist, Rob Staton.

Evans spent time with the Blades between 2009 and 2012, but was released by the club after he was charged with sexual assault five years ago.

The 28-year old has spent the 2016/17 campaign with Chesterfield, where he has scored seven goals in 29 appearances.
