Central midfielder James Morton has been impressing out on loan with League Two side Forest Green Rovers from Bristol City, with FGR pushing for a second consecutive finish in the Playoffs in just their third Football League season.

Morton has three assists and put in three Man of the Match awards in just 10 appearances for Mark Cooper's FGR side, and has put in commanding performances as a deep-lying playmaker for the Gloucestershire side.

Morton is a product of the City youth academy just down the road from FGR at Ashton Gate, and being a City fan himself, making it into the first-team under Lee Johnson would be a dream come true.

After two productive loan spells with National League South side Bath City across the past two seasons, Morton has chalked u 66 appearances and one goal for Jerry Gill's side, before being trusted by Lee Johnson to go and do a job in League Two as he continues his development.

Bristol City loan manager Brian Tinnion has now posted a two-minute video on his personal Twitter profile, containing clips of Morton from his first ten games as a Football League regular, and Robins fans are getting excited over what they're seeing from the loan star...
