Ipswich Town have had a pretty mundane decade or two stuck in the second tier of English football.

The Tractor Boys were once a force of English football and spent large periods of their history in the top flight.

Sadly, the club were relegated in 2001-2002 and haven’t looked back since. In the last fifteen years, Ipswich have spent every one in the Championship.

This feat could have good connotations, such as stability, but more so, it represents a stagnant era to forget.

Ipswich fans have not really had much to shout about and have never really been in a relegation battle either. They have had a couple of play-off pushes but apart from that, it has been a spell summed up by mid table mediocrity.

Despite this, there have been a few moments that have embarrassed the fans, such as big losses and defeats in the Old Farm derby against Norwich.

Here, we have picked the top three most embarrassing moments in Ipswich Town’s last 15 years.

Not a singular moment, but Ipswich’s run against Norwich in the last 10 years has been terrible.

The last time the Tractor Boys managed a win in the East Anglian Derby was in April 2009.

This is embarrassing for Ipswich fans, who haven’t had the bragging rights for nearly a decade.

The worst performance of the last 15 years was when Peterborough smashed Ipswich by a score of 7 goals to 1.

Lee Tomlin scored a hat-trick to thrash and embarrass Ipswich at London Road.

Ipswich have been stuck in the Championship for two decades nearly, but a good chance to return to the top table of football came in 2015 when Ipswich made the play-offs thanks to a great run of form.

Norwich defeated Ipswich over two legs with a score of 4-2.

Although we've already covered Ipswich's struggled against the Canaries anyway, to lose in a play-off semi-final makes this much worse.
