It has been a quiet January transfer window for Ipswich Town so far.

Up until now, the club has yet to make a signing this month, while Corrie Ndaba's loan move to Ayr is the only outgoing business to have been completed.

However, it does seem as though things could start to get busy at Portman Road in the coming weeks, both in terms of incomings and outgoings during the current market.

Here, we've taken a look at all the latest transfer news to emerge surrounding Ipswich in the past few days.

Elkan Baggott price-tag revealed

One Ipswich player whose potential departure has generated a good deal of speculation this month, is 18-year-old Elkan Baggott.

The centre back is reportedly a target for Premier League duo Leeds and West Ham after rejecting a new contract with Ipswich, and it now seems as though those clubs know how much they must pay for his services.

According to reports from Football Insider, any club wishing to sign Baggott will have to pay a compensation fee of between £150,000 and £300,000, which ought to be affordable for those two top-flight clubs.

Can you identify these 17 former Ipswich players from these three clues?

Colchester target Freddie Sears reunion

Another player who could be set to depart Portman Road this month, is Freddie Sears.

The attacker has found game time somewhat hard to come by this season, and it seems as though that could lay the ground work for a move elsewhere in the coming weeks.

According to reports, League Two side Colchester - who Sears left to join Ipswich in 2015 - are interested in a move to re-sign the 31-year-old, although his with his contract at Ipswich set to expire this summer, it remains to be seen whether any move for Sears would be a loan or permanent.

Josh Harrop linked

With regards to incomings, one player who could potentially be on his way to Portman Road this month is Preston's Josh Harrop.

The attacker has found game time hard to come by for Alex Neil's side so far this season, and it now seems a move in search of more regular first-team football could be on the cards for the 25-year-old in the January window.

That is something that Ipswich could look to take advantage of, with the East Anglian Daily Times confirming that the Tractor Boys are keen on a loan move for the former Manchester United youngster, although it is though salary cap restrictions would mean another player would have to leave if Harrop was to join.
