Ipswich Town star offers fans positive update ahead of QPR clash

Published

on

The Championship is back this weekend and Ipswich Town will certainly be keen to build on their good start to proceedings so far in the second tier.

The Tractor Boys have been going along very nicely under Mick McCarthy this season and, though it is early doors, it’s easy for their fans to start dreaming about what could be a very positive season.

For sure, though, in McCarthy they’ve got one of the most down to Earth managers about and he’ll certainly be looking for his players to only be focusing on the next game ahead.

One man, then, who has certainly had to just focus on the present recently is Tom Adeyemi with him recovering from injury but he looks set to be back in action before too long and he’s revealed his readiness to feature this weekend if called upon.

Speaking to the club’s Twitter account he said:

Adeyemi is ready, then, to get going for the Tractor Boys and now it remains to be seen if his manager gives him the nod this weekend.

The Verdict

Adeyemi is a true professional and he will certainly have been working hard to get himself back to full fitness in recent times.

For sure, then, he’ll be itching to get on the pitch and remind fans of what he can do but it’s ultimately going to be up to his manager to decide just whether or not he is to come back in.
