Ipswich Town might once again make a move for Bersant Celina this summer, with TWTD reporting that they could be interested in the player again.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan with the Tractor Boys and after looking fairly sharp for the side at times, it looked like the club might try and bring the player back again during this offseason.

However, a move hasn't materialised and it looked like the Portman Road outfit would end up missing out on the attacking midfielder entirely. That's because it looked as though a move to Turkey was signed and sealed, with Kasimpasa looking to be the next destination for the player.

A deal to send Celina there though has now collapsed - and that means he is once again on the hunt for a new team to play for. His current side Dijon in France are quite willing to get rid of the 25-year-old, with the player having managed only five assists and no goals in 32 league games for them.

It led to him being sent out to Ipswich on a short-term deal in the first place, where he fared better than during his time in France. In League One last term, he played 32 games and managed six goals and five assists along the way.

Now, Ipswich want to potentially try and add him to their squad again, with a move now able to happen again with Kasimpasa no longer looking to bring the attacking midfielder to Turkey. Instead, he will have to find another new team.

The Verdict

Bersant Celina showed flashes of his brilliance for Ipswich last season and it showcased that he is well capable of producing the goods at League One level.

The attacking midfielder wasn't always on form - there were some games better than others for the 25-year-old - but with goals, assists, creativity and vision to his game, he was often able to split open opposition defences. That is exactly what the Tractor Boys need in their hunt for a promotion.

Kieran McKenna then might quite fancy launching another move for his services. It does look like he would be allowed to leave Dijon in France this summer and as long as he is available, Ipswich might be interested in trying to sort a move out.

It's a boost for the Tractor Boys then that he might be available again because a move to Turkey seemed likely - and now they have the chance to snap him up themselves again for next season in the third tier.
