Ipswich Town have enjoyed a superb start to life in League One, with Paul Lambert's side currently top of the league and unbeaten in ten.

Whilst there have been many factors for this, the form of wing-back Kane Vincent-Young has been crucial in recent weeks.

The 23-year-old notched in 4-1 victory against Tranmere last time out and hit the winner against Gillingham the week before and he is looking like a shrewd bit of business from the Tractor Boys.

And, Vincent-Young was speaking about his good run in front of goal to the club's media today and revealed he would give himself a reward if he can get on the scoresheet again at Fleetwood this weekend.

"My goal on Saturday was definitely in my top three! My first on my left foot too. If I get three in three on Saturday I’ll have to get myself a present!"

However, the Suffolk outfit are sure to have their work cut out this weekend against Joey Barton's side who have dropped just two points at home all season and sit in third position.

The verdict

Vincent-Young has been an outstanding signing for Ipswich going from his form in the past month and he has settled into his new surroundings extremely well.

He provides the team with a real outlet down the flank with his pace and power, whilst he can also defend well and is chipping in with goals.

So, Lambert will be hoping for more of the same against Fleetwood in what should be a very intriguing game between two good sides.
