Jason Cummings has endured a difficult spell with Nottingham Forest following his arrival at the City Ground last summer.

The forward arrived from Hibs, but managed just 14 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship, which brought one goal.

Cummings was more impressive in the Carabao Cup, scoring three goals in three appearances, but didn’t do enough to stake a claim for a regular starting berth, with Forest loaning the forward to Rangers in January.

During his spell at Ibrox, Cummings scored six goals in 18 appearances across all competitions, with it unclear where the 22-year-old will be playing his football at the start of the 2018/19 campaign.

A move back to Scotland could be a possibility, whilst one of Forest’s Championship rivals could also offer Cummings a route out of the City Ground.

Here at FLW, we wanted to find out if Ipswich Town’s supporters would welcome a move for Cummings in the coming summer.

Voting in our Twitter poll was close, but 61% of Ipswich’s supporters would back a move for Cummings this summer, whilst the remaining 39% wouldn’t back the club if they made a move for the 22-year-old.
