Ipswich Town are reportedly interested in Derby County striker Conor Sammon, according to the Irish Daily Star.#
Sammon was on the fringes of the Rams first team last season and scored four goals all season as the Rams missed out on promotion in the Play Off Final.
Sammon was linked with Ipswich in January and has also been linked with his old manager Nigel Clough at Sheffield United.
It is thought, that Sammon is the highest earner at Derby and this could be a stumbling block for Mick McCarthy.
Sammon has won nine Republic of Ireland appearances but is yet to score for Martin O’Neil’s men.
