West Brom are eyeing a deal to bring Ipswich left back Aaron Cresswell to the Hawthorns.
The 24-year-old joined Ipswich from Tranmere Rovers in 2011 and has gone on to make 125 appearances for the club.
The Daily Star is reporting that the Premier League club could be ready to bid for the young defender who was named in the PFA Championship team of the season.
Scouts from Southampton, Fulham and Hull City have been at Portman Road this season to watch Cresswell in action and manager Mick McCarthy will be bracing himself for a bid this summer.
Cresswell signed a new deal last year which contracts him to the club until 2017.
West Brom are still searching for a new manager after Pepe Mel left the club at the end of last season following a disappointing Premier league campaign.
