Sky Sports News reports that Ipswich and Blackpool are keen on Tranmere’s goalkeeper Owain Fon-Williams.

Fon-Williams is free to leave Tranmere due to a specific clause in his contract which means that Tranmere would not receive a fee.

The twenty-seven year old goalkeeper has been at the club since his transfer from Rochdale in 2011 and since then picked up over a hundred and twenty three appearances for the club.

Tranmere have Fon-Williams under contract for a further twelve months, the club who want him to stay will have to be on their guard to fight off potential suitors.

It has been reported on Sky Sports that Ipswich, Blackpool and Leyton Orient are all understood to be keen on Fon-Williams, who was previously an Welsh U-21 international, he has been called up to the full international squad by Chris Coleman but has yet to start a game.
