Bitter rivals Ipswich Town and Norwich find themselves locked level on points at this stage of the season and firmly rooted in mid-table.

Mick McCarthy's Tractor Boys are in 12th place in the Championship, ahead of Daniel Farke's 13th placed Canaries by virtue of a better goal difference alone.

But which of the two clubs has the better centre forward to call on? There has been repeated big money interest around Norwich's Nelson Oliveira and his relationship with Farke hasn't always been the smoothest.

Meanwhile, Joe Garner is a typical McCarthy player, but who is producing more for their side? We've taken a look at the numbers for our latest FLW duel to find out.

Garner wins four categories, compared to Oliveira's three, so there is no doubt it is a close-run thing.

The Ipswich man wins out in terms of goals (10-7), assists (2-1), as well as average passes per game and key passes per game, showing himself to be a more unselfish operator as well as more prolific.

Oliveira takes more shots per game, makes many more dribbles and his pass success percentage is much higher than Garners, showing he is suited to a simple hold up game, whereas Garner fails to complete more searching passes.

The debate will rumble on between the two sets of fans but the numbers put Garner in the lead.
