Sunderland are well entrenched in another last-chance saloon this season and, at the moment, it looks as though they're not getting out.

The men from the Stadium of Light have not had a good campaign this season at all and it looks as though back-to-back relegations are now on the cards.

Chris Coleman, then, must be wondering exactly why he took the job on and all he can do is try to shake the side up as much as possible in trying to get a response.

Is it time, then, to bin the senior stars that have let the club down so much and bring in some youth that will at least work hard and look to impress?

Here are two youngsters we think it's worth bringing in to send a message to some other players...

Benji Kimpioka is an exciting, attack minded footballer that can play up top or run the channels out wide.

Sunderland did well to bring him in and with the way they are going they are surely going to need to do something to hold on to him.

Playing him in the first team would surely be a start, then, so let's see if Coleman takes such a risk.

Luke Molyneux is a tricky and pacey winger that has scored some impressive goals on his way through Sunderland's academy.

He's another player who it might be worth giving senior minutes to more as the club sleepwalks towards the third tier.

Perhaps his unpredictability and relatively unknown reputation could give the Black Cats a bit of spark? They're certainly not going to get that from many of their players right now, you feel.
