Leeds United fans will still be hurting, following their club's failure to gain automatic promotion to the Premier League, only to then miss out when given a chance via the play-offs, when they lost out to Derby County at the semi-final stage.

With manager Marcelo Bielsa's future now secure, he can start the re-building process, with Brighton defender Ben White the latest name to be linked with a loan move to Elland Road, as reported in the YEP.

White has not been a regular starter in the Seagulls' first-team, with Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy consistently occupying the centre-back spots at the Amex Stadium.

So, how should Leeds fans be feeling about Ben White being on Bielsa's transfer radar?

We discuss........

Louie Chandler

"Intrigued.

"White is unproven in the second tier but did well during his time with Peterborough United in League One last season.

"He is great with the ball at his feet which would suit the club but he is far from guaranteed to shine at Elland Road too."

George Dagless

"Intrigued.

"He'll have something to prove this season coming if he does go there and that usually makes for a good signing.

"Fans will probably judge him after a few games rather than on arrival though."

Kealan Hughes

"It will take most of them by surprise, given he has never played above the third-tier before in his career, and they already have two accomplished centre backs in Jansson and Cooper.

"However he is a good player who could add something to the side, and his career progression indicates that he is ready for the next step up.

"With it being a loan signing Leeds fans could complain of a lack of ambition, and they will probably feel that the club should be going after more proven targets."
