For all of the recent injury problems that Marcelo Bielsa has had to deal with at Leeds in his first season, it's a credit to the Whites boss as to how well he has coped, with Leeds still in promotion contention.

The Leeds boss was handed a major boost with the imminent return of Izzy Brown and Patrick Bamford to first-team action, as they have built up their match fitness after lengthy injury spells out of the side.

Brown is yet to feature for the promotion contenders after arriving on loan from Chelsea with a long-term knee injury, but he could have a crucial role to play in this Leeds side.

Whilst Bamford hasn't featured since the end of August, and he certainly faces a tough task to battle Kemar Roofe for the starting spot in attack for Bielsa's side.

Phil Hay from the Yorkshire Evening Post journalist revealed that the pair are in contention to feature against QPR this weekend.
