Nottingham Forest secured an important victory over Luton Town at the weekend, moving them to within five points of the automatic promotion places.

The Reds came from behind to beat the struggling Hatters, with goals from Joe Lolley and Lewis Grabban confirming the convincing victory for Sabri Lamouchi's side.

Lolley scored two goals either side of half-time to put the Reds in the lead, before Grabban rounded off a brilliant second-half performance by scoring from 12 yards.

That is now 15 goals for the season for Grabban, who definitely looks on course to surpass the 20-goal mark for the Reds this term.

The 32-year-old scored 17 goals in all competitions upon his arrival from AFC Bournemouth last season, and now looks set to go one better this time around.

Can you get 14 out of 14 on this Forest quiz?

In fact, the red-hot forward has now become the first player to score 15 league goals in successive seasons since Stan Collymore did so in 1993/94 and 1994/95.

Forest's official Twitter account were quick to congratulate the striker on an impressive achievement.

The Verdict

Grabban has turned out to be an excellent signing for Forest since signing from Bournemouth last summer, and he really is a class act.

It would be interesting to see where Forest would be without his goals this season as he has popped up with some really important strikes.

Forest have lacked a proven goalscorer since the days of Robbie Earnshaw - Britt Assombalonga was also deadly in front of goal, but injuries really hampered his time at the City Ground.

Forest will be praying that Grabban doesn't pick up an injury anytime soon.
