Bristol City defender Adam El-Abd is attracting interest from League One clubs Bradford City and Swindon Town, according to HITC Sport.
The powerful defender faces an uncertain future at Ashton Gate after spending the majority of last season away from the club on loan.
The Egyptian international made 24 appearances on loan at Bury and played a pivotal part in them winning promotion into League One.
Bristol City romped to the League One title last season and it is unlikely that boss Steve Cotterill sees him as part of his plans for the club’s first season back in the Championship.
Bury are also thought to be monitoring the situation with El-Abd following his successful loan spell last term.
It would appear however that both Bradford and Swindon, who are in the market for defensive recruit,s could be about to make the first move for the ex-Brighton and Hove Albion defender.
Bury, Bradford and Swindon fans… We want to hear from you. Would you welcome El-Abd to your club?
