It looks as though Stoke City are ready to be busy again in the summer window as Nathan Jones gets his first real chance to start moulding his side.

The former Luton Town boss is the man entrusted to try and get the Potters back into the Premier League and after a few months in charge he'll have an idea of the ins and outs he wants to make.

It looks as though a trio of arrivals are on the horizon now, too, with Rob Dorsett confirming on Twitter that Nick Powell, Adam Davies and Lee Gregory are all on their way:

It looks as though the three could be announced either today or tomorrow, too, and that would be a decent way of kicking off the window for the men in red and white.

The Verdict

These three signings could be very astute business.

Powell is a proven, quality Championship-level attacking midfielder whilst Lee Gregory is an industrious striker with a keen eye for goal.

Finally, Adam Davies was exceptional in League One for Barnsley and could prove to be a very handy replacement for Jack Butland.
