Adama Traore has been in and out of the Middlesbrough team this season with his inconsistent performances infuriating fans at times.

However, this remarkable stat from @TheNinetyTwo_ suggests he may be worth persevering with for Garry Monk.

Incredibly, the winger has managed ten more successful dribbles than anybody else this season, despite only playing 270 minutes.

To put that in perspective, the remaining three players on the list have played over 900 minutes each.

Whilst most Boro fans will point to the lack of an end product as the main reason for anger at Traore, this stat clearly showcases he has a remarkable talent that no one in the Championship can match.

Credit too must go to Boro right-back Cyrus Christie who is the only defender on the list.

The Irish international has always had attacking instincts and it seems that Monk is allowing him to display them in his team.

Elsewhere, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Luke Freeman have both enjoyed terrific starts to their seasons and it's no surprise to see them with so many successful dribbles given how they like to excite fans.

The Verdict

When you take into consideration the minutes played, the stat is remarkable from Traore.

He obviously needs to work on his end-product because so many successful dribbles should result in more assists and goals than he is currently producing.

Although this improvement has been known and required for several seasons, he is only 21-years old and should still be given more time to develop, as clearly he could make a major impact.
