The Crystal palace youngster is expecting to be loaned out again for next season, according to Teamtalk

The 19 year-old defender was offered the chance to join Gillingham back in February, which he took but suffered a hamstring injury on his debut for Gillingham.

He has only recently returned to training with the Premier League outfit and is fully aware that making the step-up to the first tier at this stage is unlikely.

With this in mind, Inniss hopes that he can gain more experience by being loaned out to another lower division side and get more important Football League minutes under his belt.

The promising centre-back told the Croydon Advertiser: “If I can break into the first team at Palace, that would be the dream.

“But I can go out on loan and get more experience if that’s what the gaffer (Tony Pulis) wants me to do.

“It’s never too late to get in the first team. I’ve said to the other lads, ‘You never know where you’re going to go next’, so everyone is trying, whether they’re in the first team, development squad or youth team.

“I am not worried about the level if I were to go out on loan again. I played in the Conference Premier, and then League One and League Two I think are fairly similar.

“It’s a bit more football played in League One, but I think I can adapt to both. I just want to get my fitness up before I commit to going out to a club.

“Obviously, I would love to be in the Palace first team and I know it’s going to be tough but I will work as hard as I can, but League One would be realistic for me to go out and play, I think."
