Wolves defender Danny Batth last night was keen to praise his teammates as they ran out 1-0 winners in what was a tough away assignment at Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night's live game on Sky.

The table toppers ran out winners thanks to a first half goal from Ruben Neves, the Portuguese midfielder stroking home from the edge of the area to hand Wolves the three points and further enhance their promotion chances.

Following the game, Wolves defender Danny Batth took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the game, and he was in a positive and buoyant mood once again.

The former Sheffield Wednesday loanee has become a key man for Nuno Santo this season and despite not playing a minute at Hillsborough last night, Batth was still encouraging towards his teammates, a sign of the real togetherness the Wolves squad is showing this season.

The tweet prompted a few responses, with even a few Wednesday fans chirping up to let him know that they would take him back to the club in a heartbeat.

Wolves fans, what do you make of Batth's contribution this season? Give us your thoughts in the comments!
