QPR loanee Nakhi Wells has come out with praise for his teammate Ebere Eze following the youngsters excellent form over the last couple of weeks.

Speaking to West London Sport, the Burnley striker, who joined on loan in the summer along with fellow Premier League striker Tomer Hemed, was quick to praise 20-year-old Eze.

"He’s a huge asset for this football club, someone I have huge admiration for. He wants to learn, he’s not comfortable at the level he’s at, he wants to grow and has high ambitions.

“Huge credit to him and he’s showing it out there. He’s not just a young kid anymore, he’s being a leader for us.

“We need that and long may that continue. He’s always going to chip in with goals and assists because he’s that talented, but he’s got something very few in the league have, which is raw and natural ability to carry the ball in certain situations. Wells added.

Eze has been in superb form as QPR have put their early season woes behind them of late, including producing a man of the match performance in the win over Millwall in mid-week.

Wells is likely to be a key figure for the R's throughout the course of the campaign, but Eze will no doubt play an important role too, with the young midfielder already establishing himself as a regular at Loftus Road under Steve McLaren.

The R's go looking for their third win in a row today when they take on Norwich City in the evening kick off.
