Nottingham Forest now have the Championship's top two spots in their sights after picking up a vital victory over Leeds United on Saturday night.

Sammy Ameobi's first half strike was followed up by a late clincher from Tyler Walker to gift the Reds all three points during a hotly contested affair at the City Ground.

Several of the Forest players put in match winning performances to repel the attacking talents of a Leeds United side.

Worrall was in imperious form for the Reds once again, making three interceptions and six clearances as he formed a solid partnership with Tobias Figueiredo at the heart of the backline.

The 23-year-old has been almost ever present for Forest this term, with the defender's overall game having come on leaps and bounds since returning from his loan spell at Glasgow Rangers this summer.

The centre back is now widely considered to be one of the best defenders operating outside of the Premier League as he continues to enhance his reputation since making the breakthrough for his boyhood club back in the 2016/2017 season.

Meanwhile, Forest will be seeking to pick up another three points on Tuesday night when they play host to Charlton Athletic at the City Ground.
