The form of Pablo Hernandez is certainly a reason to get excited for Leeds fans, but his latest comments suggest that he can get even better under Marcelo Bielsa this season.

The Spaniard has four goals and four assists to his name this season, and with Hernandez missing seven league games for Leeds this season through injury, those stats are even more impressive.

The 33-year-old seems to be discovering his best form under Bielsa and Leeds supporters will be keen for him to play a crucial part in their promotion bid this season.

In a press conference ahead of Leeds' game with West Brom at the weekend, Hernandez admitted that he is playing with confidence this season, and feels that his form this season has been some of the best he has shown in his career.

'I don't know but it's one of the best, sure. I have confidence now, I score, I assist, I help the team.

'The team being top of the league is a good moment.'

Hernandez will be hoping to continue his impressive run of form when they travel to The Hawthorns to face West Brom in what will be a fiercely contested game between the two promotion-chasing sides.

The Verdict:

Leeds fans couldn't be more pleased with Hernandez's form and alongside Kemar Roofe, the pair have been the men to watch this season for Bielsa's side.

The creative midfielder has played a vital part in the team's success this season and with the Spaniard admitting he is full of confidence, Leeds supporters can look forward to more impressive performances from the former Swansea man.

They face a tough ask if they are to maintain their good run of form, as they take on a West Brom side that will be keen to justify their promotion credentials in front of the Sky Sports cameras this weekend.
