I'm sure Queens Park Rangers supporters will be satisfied with their season performance up to this stage following an appalling and uninspiring first three months to the campaign.

They have Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink to blame for getting them in this current situation; the Dutchman brought in a number of questionable signings to Loftus Road in the hope to get the club back to the top flight, with some of those arrivals from the bottom two professional divisions in the English pyramid.

Ian Holloway has come in and changed the whole picture in west London, getting rid of much of the deadwood at QPR and bringing in acquisitions who have experienced the Championship - they know what it is all about.

Of course, the manager has his own way of doing things and that leads to a lot of changes, including player positions, formations and first team players.

He has had to drop some players for the benefit of the squad.

Here are 2 QPR players who are getting nowhere near the starting XI under Holloway...

Karl Henry

Karl Henry has been frozen out of Ian Holloway's Queens Park Rangers squad after having been told he would be able to leave the club back in January.

The 34-year-old midfielder is the forgotten man at Loftus Road as his last appearance in a blue and white hoops shirt came at the beginning of December when his side lost to his former club Wolverhampton Wanderers at home.

Henry's days at QPR look to be numbered but as long as he stays there with Holloway in charge then the likeliness of him getting anywhere near the starting XI lessens.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas

The former Arsenal youngster has been frustrating during his career for his laziness and that proved during his time on loan at League One club Gillingham; despite being their top goal scorer, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas or 'JET' was often criticised by the supporters and has been sent back to Queens Park Rangers.

Even before his move on loan to Gills last summer there was little hope for him in the first team with Ian Holloway in charge, and that was why the boss sent him away.

Emmanuel-Thomas is contracted to the Championship outfit until 2018 but him getting in the starting XI is unlikely and a loan move next season is highly on the cards, in my opinion.

QPR fans, what's your thoughts on this? Do Karl Henry and 'JET' have a future at Loftus Road? Is Ian Holloway too harsh or do they both deserve to be frozen out? Give us your opinions in the comments below!
