Nottingham Forest moved to the top of the Sky Bet Championship table last night, defeating Stoke City 3-2 at the bet365 Stadium.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side are now unbeaten in eight league games, bouncing back from their Carabao Cup exit in perfect fashion at Stoke.

Lee Gregory had put the Potters in-front, but Lamouchi’s forward-line responded perfectly.

Joe Lolley, Sammy Ameobi and Lewis Grabban struck to send Forest top, with James McClean’s late goal nothing more than a consolation for the struggling Potters.

And, defender Joe Worrall took to Twitter after the game to point out that Forest’s first-team, under-23 team and under-18 team are all now top of their respective divisions, underlining to good times at the City Ground.

Worrall has played a big part in the first-team’s success, after passing through the ranks at Forest – via a loan spell with Rangers.
