Liam Walsh scored a sensational individual goal as Coventry City defeated Rochdale by two goals to one at St. Andrew's on Saturday afternoon.

The Sky Blues picked up their first win in three games at the weekend, with Mark Robins' side climbing to third spot in the Sky Bet League One table after recording an important win.

City did find themselves 1-0 down on the afternoon, with Ian Henderson adding another goal to this season's tally to put Dale 1-0 up.

But City came back fighting, and got back on level terms just before half-time thanks to Jordan Shipley's strike.

In the 72nd minute of the match, it was time for Walsh to work his magic, with the midfielder going on a mazy run before smashing the ball into the top corner - proving to be the winning goal.

The 22-year-old has really impressed since arriving on loan from Bristol City in the summer, scoring three goals in 12 games for the Sky Blues.
