Barnsley took an unlikely point away from The Hawthorns as they drew 2-2 with West Brom on Tuesday evening.

Not many would have predicted the Tykes to get anything from the league leaders, but they took a shock two-goal lead on the night courtesy of a brace from Cauley Woodrow.

But Slaven Bilic's side responded late on with goals from Matheus Pereira and an own goal from Bambo Diaby, but Barnsley will be the happier of the two teams after this result.

It wasn't enough to lift them off the bottom of the Championship table, but they'll be hoping to build on this impressive performance as the season progresses.

One man that will be key to them standing any chance of retaining their status in the second tier is Cauley Woodrow, who scored his fifth league goal of the season.

Plenty of the Oakwell faithful took to social media to praise the striker for his contribution against the Baggies.
