Plenty of Birmingham City fans have taken to Twitter to offer their thoughts on the club's season to date.

Following Garry Monk's departure in June, the Blues opted to hand over the reins at St Andrew's to Pep Clotet who was appointed as their caretaker head coach.

Given that the Spaniard's most recent managerial role ended in him being sacked by Oxford United in 2018 following a poor run of results in League One, the jury was out on whether he was the right man to take Birmingham forward.

However, under the guidance of Clotet, the Blues have made a relatively positive start to the 2019/20 campaign on the second-tier.

As well as securing eye-catching victories over the likes of Charlton Athletic and Brentford, Birmingham have also managed to pick up points when they have not necessarily been at their best.

Whilst the Blues' away form in the Championship as a whole has been fairly inconsistent, there is no reason why they cannot push on following the international break if they resolve this particular issue.

Considering that he has the likes of Ivan Sunjic, Jude Bellingham and Fran Villalba at his disposal, Clotet will be confident in his side's ability to mount a serious challenge for a top-six finish next May.

Although the Blues are currently 13th in the second-tier standings, they are only six points adrift of the play-off places.

After Blues HQ asked their followers to sum up the season to date in one word, plenty of Birmingham fans offered their thoughts on Twitter.
