It’s been a tough start to the season for Ipswich Town, who so far this season have failed to register a victory under Paul Hurst in the Sky Bet Championship.

That has left Ipswich bottom of the Championship table after five fixtures, with Hurst’s side having just two points on the board at this early stage of the season.

With the transfer window closing tomorrow, Hurst is still actively looking to strengthen his playing squad, with the club confirming the arrival of Jon Walters today.

Walters spent time with Ipswich between 2007 and 2010, where he proved to be a hugely popular figure at Portman Road.

Since then, the 34-year-old has been with Stoke City and Burnley in the Premier League, but with his opportunities looking limited with the latter, he has returned to Ipswich on loan until January.
