After a promising start to their Championship campaign Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis will look to the loan market to land additional attacking options.

Middlesborough are keen on in demand Everton winger Yannick Bolasie, but face stiff opposition from Aston Villa if they are secure his services.

So is a loan move for Bolasie to Boro likely to materialise? Can you see it happening?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

In a word, no.

I can't see a player such as Bolasie wanting to play for Tony Pulis, that is the start. Boro are not a pretty team and their transfer policy has been incredibly negative. I can't see them being a big attraction for a player such as him.

Will he drop into the Championship? Maybe, if the price and the club was right. He would be great for Boro, but I can't see it happening myself.

Boro need something though, just to pick up their spirits and get fans back on side.

This would be a fantastic signing if they could pull it off and really underline their promotion credentials but I am not sure I can see it happening.

Boro will be boosted by the fact that the DR Congo international cannot force a move to another Premier League club now the deadline has passed.

But how will they finance this move with such hefty wages and Everton unlikely to want to subsidise most of them?

They would also have to convince the pacey and skilful winger that moving to the Championship is worth his while.

George Dagless

I really don't know.

Bolasie is a player I rate and I think he could have gone to the Premier League.

European clubs will want him, surely, but if Boro can show that they are on for promotion I could still see it happening.

It'd be a fine signing.

Jay Taylor

He isn’t going to play at Everton so you would imagine soon.

You’d imagine Bolasie would have wanted a move to a Premier League club, but with the window now closed it will have to be abroad or the Championship.

A temporary move to a side who are one of the favourites for promotion looks like it could well happen with the club wanting him and the player wanting to play.

He would be a quality addition to the Boro side should the move materialise.

Sam Rourke

If i'm honest, I can't.

I just get the feeling that wages will be the stumbling block here, and I can't see Boro stumping up the cash to sign the dynamic winger.

There's no doubt this would be a stellar acquisition, but it's an unlikely one for me.
