A mid-table finish for Reading looks most likely this season in the Sky Bet Championship, and fans will at least be happy that their side is not embroiled in what is shaping up to be quite the relegation fight – provided the season resumes this summer.
The Royals had a tough start to the season, of course, but under Mark Bowen there have been better signs since his arrival during the campaign and fans will hope that they can build on that into 2020/21.
Certainly, there will be hope that new players can be signed during the summer window and add to a squad that does possess talent with the likes of Ovie Ejaria impressing greatly this year.

One player igniting discussion amongst Royals fans, too, is former man Danny Williams with him available after leaving Pafos.
Reading fans, then, have been debating whether they’d take him back so let’s look at what they have said:
Following Danny Williams' release from Pafos, we ask the question; would you take the USA-international back at Reading?

In a heartbeat as long as his wages are low enough, him alongside Swift and Ejaria would be brilliant and Rinomhota would learn a lot under him for a year or two. Could replace Pele whom I'm imagining will not be back next year.

No, injury prone and will demand wages we shouldn’t entertain purely for sentimental reasons

Loved Danny – he gave reading so much. Huge respect – but never go back.

Yes in a heart beat! He did great for us but not sure if we can afford his wages due to the virus. We have spent a lot of money last few years
