Leeds United have been fantastic so far this season, with Marcelo Bielsa's side third in the Championship ahead of the weekend fixtures.

That's a fine achievement, especially when you consider that the Whites have suffered with injuries throughout the campaign.

However, those on the fringes have stepped up, with young striker Tyler Roberts one of those to take his chance.

The 19-year-old has scored three goals in eight games and his form has seen him start up top for Wales in their recent Nations League games.

That means that the teenager gets to work with the renowned Bielsa at club level and Premier League legend Ryan Giggs for his country.

And, Roberts explained what it was like playing for the renowned duo when speaking to the Yorkshire club's official site:

"The type of practices we do are a lot different. Obviously, with Marcelo and Ryan it's a different style, but I think they're both high tempo and the quality is great in both, and I've really enjoyed the sessions under both."

The former West Brom man could feature for Giggs as Wales take on Albania in a friendly tonight.

The Verdict

Roberts has taken great strides this season as a player and clearly working under Bielsa and Giggs is going to help.

Whilst very different characters, they are both well-respected and it will be great for Roberts as he looks to become a better all-round striker.

Now, it's about picking up the advice they give and taking the chances he is given on the pitch.
