Leeds United suffered a frustrating blow to their promotion chances on Tuesday evening as they left Loftus Road empty-handed.

The Whites were beaten 1-0 by a QPR side who had lost seven league games in a row coming into the game.

Luke Freeman’s goal early into the second-half proved to be the difference between the two sides, and QPR’s talisman put in an excellent display for the Hoops on the night.

Freeman was only deemed fit enough for this one late on, with the 26-year-old nursing a hip injury that left Steve McClaren with a potential selection dilemma.

The former Arsenal youngster has been impressive for McClaren’s side this season, and will be keen to build on some fantastic displays.

It wasn’t just QPR supporters that were full of praise for the returning midfielder, with Leeds fans weighing in with their verdicts on his performance on social media.
