Key Wolves man Connor Coady has revealed that he is loving playing for the club and praised the owners as the team look to secure the title this weekend.

Wanderers return to the Premier League was confirmed last weekend when Brentford held Fulham to a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage.

That prompted wild celebrations in Wolverhampton, with the players rewarded for their fine work this season.

And, speaking to the club’s official website, defensive rock Coady gave credit to those at the top of the club.

“It's a brilliant club to play for. This promotion is a culmination of a lot of things - it's a fantastic club coming together. This is how a club should be run.”

“I've been here for a few years now and I've played for other clubs in the past, and this club is now properly - everything is there for us, absolutely everything.”

The former Liverpool man added that the aim is to continue progressing.

“We know that the club is run brilliantly and now we can hopefully go on to bigger and better things.”

The Verdict

Everyone associated with Wolves deserves credit for what the team have done this season.

After a poor first campaign, with poor managerial decisions and no clear plan, things have changed dramatically. They’re recruitment was spot on and importantly Nuno Espirito Santo was the right manager.

Coady’s words of a positive environment will please fans and they will also enjoy that he is still aiming to improve.
