‘Immense’ – These Stoke fans are delighted with 28-y/o after weekend display

Stoke City continued their solid run of form after an enthralling 2-2 draw away at Aston Villa.
The Potters went into the fixture on the back of eight games without a defeat, and are now up to 11th in the Sky Bet Championship table, five points off the playoff places.
After a drab first-half, Gary Rowett’s men opened the scoring after Joe Allen’s strike, as Stoke went in search of their 8th win of the season.
Benik Afobe then put the Potters 2-1 up after Tammy Abraham cancelled out Allen’s goal from the spot, before Jonathan Kodjia salvaged a late, late draw for Villa, to ensure that Stoke would depart the West Midlands with a point.
Allen was a standout performer for Stoke in the middle of the park – the Welsh international was a nightmare throughout and was rewarded with his goal.
Here, we take a look at Stoke fans’ reactions to Allen’s performance on Saturday…

Just got back. Thought Joe Allen was the best player on the pitch. McClean excellent second half. Disappointing not to take all 3 points but unbeaten in 9 & in spells we look a very decent side. Turning draws into wins the key. #scfc #ktf
