Charlton Athletic have revealed their new home kit for the 2019/2020 season, as Lee Bowyer's side prepare for life in the Championship.

The Addicks won promotion from League One in dramatic fashion, as they beat Sunderland in the play-off final at Wembley, with Patrick Bauer's last-minute strike sending the Charlton supporters into a frenzy.

The pinstripe design on the shirt is similar to that of the Charlton home shirts between 1982 and 1986.

It's been a far from ideal summer for the supporters, with key figures being linked with moves away from The Valley before the new season gets underway.

Charlton's opening game of the season is against Blackburn Rovers, where they'll be hoping to get off to the best possible start with a win.

It's safe to say that the new kit certainly went down well with Charlton supporters.
