The four nominations for the September Manager of the Month award were today announced as Steve Bruce, Daniel Farke, Lee Johnson and Alex Neil.

All four led their sides through an unbeaten month that consisted of six games in a packed schedule.

It was particularly pleasing for Farke and Bruce who recovered after a poor start to the season to get their club's back into contention for a play-off position.

Aston Villa, Norwich and Bristol City all picked up fourteen points in September, with Preston accumulating twelve.

That makes it a tough choice for the judging panel who will announce the winner tomorrow.

Those involved with the panel are; Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman, former manager George Burley, EFL Marketing Director Drew Barrand, LMA Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL trader Mikey Mumford.

They will have the unenviable task of looking at the fixtures each team played, the position of opponents and various other factors to come up with a winner.

However, fans have already taken to Twitter to reveal their thoughts on who should scoop the award, with some mentioning the supposed curse that comes with the prize.
