Sheffield United captain, Billy Sharp, has taken to his personal Twitter account to share a training ground update, as snow hits the north of England today and hinders preparations for this weekendâs round of Sky Bet Championship fixtures.
Sharpâs images shared show the Bladesâ training ground covered in snow, with the striker stood alongside teammate, Paul Coutts, who is currently absent from first-team football.
The 31-year-oldâs caption says: âMy mate Couttsy still smiling,â despite the fact the midfielderâs season is over due to a leg-break suffered against Burton Albion last month.
Chris Wilderâs squad are currently preparing for tomorrowâs clash with Bolton Wanderers at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon, where the Blades will be looking to strengthen their grip on a place in the Championshipâs top-six.
The Blades put a disappointing run behind them on Boxing Day, picking up a 3-0 victory over struggling Sunderland thanks to goals from John Lundstram, Richard Stearman and George Baldock.
Wilderâs side currently sit sixth in the Championship table, holding a three-point lead over Middlesbrough and Aston Villa heading into this weekendâs round of fixtures.
Boro and Villa currently sit directly below the Blades in the Championship table, however, the play-off hopefuls face each other on Saturday afternoon, offering Sheffield United a chance to extend their lead on one of the duo.
