Leeds United have rediscovered some form in the Sky Bet Championship over the last month, with Thomas Christiansenâs side moving back into top-six contention following a string of impressive results. Â
Christiansenâs side have bounced back from a miserable slump over September and October to pick up 10 points from their last five fixtures, recording victories over the likes of Middlesbrough, Barnsley and Queens Park Rangers, as well as holding in-form Aston Villa to a draw.
That run of results has put Leeds back into seventh, with Christiansenâs side now just four points adrift of Sheffield United, who sit sixth.
Leeds will be looking to extend their impressive run of form this weekend against Norwich City, as Christiansenâs side head into an intense period, where they will play four times in just 15 days.
The clubâs official Twitter account (@LUFC) have shared images from todayâs training session at Thorp Arch, of Christiansenâs side preparing for Norwichâs visit at Leedsâ cold-looking training ground.
Players such as Kalvin Phillips, Gaetano Berardi, Samuel Saiz and Bailey Peacock-Farrell have all been pictured wearing snoods, as the cold weather spreads.
The VerdictÂ
Leeds have done incredibly well over the last month, restoring some belief and looking like a side capable of challenging for the top-six once again.
The next run of four or five games is crucial for Leeds, who will want to put together another string of impressive results to fire themselves back into serious contention.
Hard work on the training field will be key to that for Christiansenâs side.
