Hadi Sacko has taken to his personal Instagram account to share images of himself in training with his Leeds United teammates, as the winger works to earn a place in Thomas Christiansen’s starting XI.

So far this season Sacko has found his opportunities limited under Christiansen, struggling to have a major impact at Elland Road having made his loan move permanent over the course of the summer.

The 23-year-old has featured in just 95 minutes of Sky Bet Championship action, failing to start a league fixture so far this season.

Sacko’s only start this season came against Port Vale in the Carabao Cup, whilst his only goal of the campaign came later in that particular competition in the 2-2 draw with Burnley.

The winger has shared pictures of himself in training this week, as he and his teammates prepare for Leeds’ weekend trip to Queens Park Rangers.

Christiansen’s side head to Loftus Road on the back of a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa last Friday, but will be encouraged by their recent form, which has seen the Whites pick-up seven points from their last four fixtures.

Sacko featured as a late substitute in Friday’s draw with Villa.

The Verdict

The most pleasing aspect of Sacko’s post is that the winger is clearly working very hard to get into Christiansen’s plans.

Last year, Sacko was influential at Elland Road, but has struggled to make a similar impact under Christiansen.

The 23-year-old will have to continue to work hard if he is to earn a break in Leeds’ starting XI.
