Image: Joe Worrall reveals new look ahead of Nottingham Forest’s clash v Reading

Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall has trained on Wednesday morning with his club, showcasing a new hairstyle.

The Reds are currently on a superb run of form having won three games out of their last three in the league, whilst Sabri Lamouchi’s side made a good account of themselves against Chelsea in the FA Cup last weekend, losing 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Worrall has been in consistently good form for Forest this term, and has provided Lamouchi with a solid centre-back pairing alongside Tobias Figueiredo.

The 22-year-old along with his teammates is gearing up for the weekend clash with Reading and the club have posted a photo of Worrall in training which has gained quite the reaction.

Worrall, who is a fans favourite at the City Ground – was pictured with a new hairstyle, having shaved off his hair which resembled both Beckham and Rooney, who both did similar during their earlier football careers.

The Forest defender reacted to the picture by tweeted a picture of Beckham and Rooney, saying that he asked did not get what he asked for.

What shirt number does Brice Samba wear?

A win for Forest at the weekend will further cement their current play-off standing where they sit fourth in the Championship table at present.

The Verdict

Worrall has been excellent this season and it is players like him that keep a good relationship with the fans intact.

Quite the presence on social media, the defender’s latest social media post connects the fans to the players – and another win at the weekend will only further that connection ahead of what looks like a promotion chase.

If Worrall can get anywhere near the heights both Beckham and Rooney did during his their careers – then Forest will have a real talent on their hands.
