It was a busy deadline day at the Macron Stadium, with Phil Parkinson moving to bolster his Bolton Wanderers squad with a number of high-profile players, ending the transfer window on a positive note despite the departure of Gary Madine.
Bolton’s official Twitter page (@OfficialBWFC), have this morning moved to share images of that loan duo in training for the club, less than 24 hours after their return to the Macron Stadium.

Flanagan spent time last season on-loan with Burnley in the Premier League, and has also made 51 senior appearances for his parent-club, Liverpool.
The 25-year-old defender was pictured at training alongside Clough, who returns to Bolton on-loan just 12 months after heading to Nottingham Forest on a permanent deal.
During his first spell with Bolton the 22-year-old made 68 senior appearances, bagging 22 goals and a further seven assists, form that led to his move to the City Ground last January.
However, Clough returns after finding himself down the pecking order at the City Ground, with Aitor Karanka having a host of names ahead of the forward.
Flanagan and Clough were both shrewd additions on deadline day, with Bolton doing some excellent business, with others arriving also sure to improve competition for places at the Macron Stadium.
Flanagan is a high-profile name stepping down into the Championship, whilst Clough’s return is one that will delight Bolton’s supporters.
If Clough can pick up the type of form he showed during his previous spell with Bolton then he will be a huge success.
