Phillip Cocu has endured a difficult start to life in English football with Derby County - the Rams have struggled to maintain any sense of consistency since the season begun.

This has to be owed to their torrid away from. The Rams have won just once on the road all season and that came on the opening day of the 19/20 campaign against Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Their latest away journey ended in more disappointed, losing 1-0 to east Midland’s rivals Nottingham Forest for the second time this season already – except their first loss to the Reds was a 3-0 hammering.

That being said, the side have won four on the bounce at Pride Park and have lost just one all season in the comfort of their own home. Wins over Birmingham City, Luton Town, Wigan Athletic and, most recently, Middlesbrough have kept the adrift of the relegation places.

With this bizarrely contrasting record, Derby have been left in 16th place of the Championship table and are already seven points off of the play-off places that they achieved last season under Frank Lampard.

Rams TV host Owen Bradley tweeted out to all Derby supporters, prompting them to give their verdict on their unconventional season so far.

Some were positive and showed faith in their manager.

Others were not so optimistic and criticised the football they have endured so far this season.
