Footage has emerged of Bristol City striker Benik Afobe dancing as he entertains himself during the current fixture delay, which has drawn a mixed reaction from fans of the South West club.

Afobe joined the Robins on a season-long loan from Stoke City on transfer deadline day in August and hit the ground running, scoring three times in his first five appearances.

However, he suffered a nasty ligament injury in training in September that was initially predicted to keep him out for the season.

The striker has recovered well and returned to training with the Robins a few weeks ago.

His potential return to match action has been put on hold due to the delay to the Championship season.

The EFL announced last week that all fixtures would be suspended until at least the 3rd of April due to the worldwide Covid-19 outbreak, though at this point it is impossible to predict how long the delay will be.

City revealed on Friday that players were training individually away from the Failand training ground.

Afobe seems to be keeping himself occupied as footage has emerged of him dancing, or potentially practicising a new celebration, on the club's official Twitter account.

That appears to have drawn mixed reaction from fans of the Robins, who have taken to Twitter to express their thoughts–some concerned about another injury and others excited by how well he is moving.
